Joshua Padron Appointed President of Collins College
Tempe, AZ (Vocus) November 21, 2007 -- Joshua Padron joins Collins College as its new president. Collins College, a school of design and technology, is located in Tempe with a branch campus in Phoenix.
As president of Collins College, Padron is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the school, including guiding business operations and providing direction for the college?s programs and future direction. Padron also serves as a liaison between Collins College and its parent company, Career Education Corporation (CEC).
"Mr. Padron's appointment as president of Collins College promises a bright future for the institution, its employees and students as his leadership skills, experience and enthusiasm for career education provide much comfort that the college is in good hands," said Anthony Stanziani, managing director of the College Division at CEC.
Padron has significant experience in both business and education. Most recently, he was the campus director for Brooks College in California. Brooks, like Collins, offers students a career-oriented education. Other experience in education includes serving as the vice president of admissions and marketing at Lehigh Valley College in Pennsylvania and as the high school director of admissions for the International Academy of Design & Technology in Orlando, Florida.
Pardon?s business experience includes working at CTI Business Management Systems, Inc. in Houston, Texas as a senior sales manager and at Devash Judaica International, Inc., in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as the general manager.
Padron has an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BA from Palm Beach Atlantic University, West Palm Beach, Florida.
