Motorola Hosts U.S. Department of Education Teacher-to-Teacher Workshop

Schaumburg, IL (PRWEB) July 13, 2007 -- Motorola (http://www.motorola.com) yesterday opened its doors to more than 100 teachers from across the nation for a free two-day workshop focused on inspiring youth in grades K-12 to embrace science and math. The U.S. Department of Education (http://www.ed.gov) Teacher Initiative training is based on peer-to-peer learning, sharing best practices and strategies for inspiring students and boosting student achievement in critical areas.

The program will offer local educators a free opportunity to participate in high-quality professional development designed to provide classroom support, technical assistance, and the increased collaboration needed to ensure academic success for all students.
